Product Philanthropy’s Impact on Indiana Nonprofits

This project was my MPA capstone. Our research team designed and implemented an original qualitative survey of Indianapolis-area nonprofit users of Good360’s new product donation service.

Through collecting data about Good360’s operating model and member organizations, and through research into other product philanthropy pace-setter organizations, we were able to develop a framework for studying the impact of new product donations on user nonprofits.

While working for Good360 as a contractor in the summer of 2013, I visited Moore, Oklahoma, to distribute clothes, shoes and other necessities to students who were impacted by the F5 tornado that struck Moore in May 2013.
